The Finnish Institute for Children´s Literature is maintained by the non-profit association Lastenkirjainstituutin kannatusyhdistys ry. The main financiers of the operation are the Ministry of Education and Culture and City of Tampere. The association´s board consist of a chairman and 12 expert members. Currently association has approx. 400 members.
Anyone interested in children´s and youth literature can become a member of the association. As a member of the Finnish Institute for Children´s Literature, you support our work for children´s and youth literature and research.
